56th Southend Barge Match 2024

Saturday 8th June.

We are pleased to invite Barge owners to take part in this year's Southend Barge Match on Saturday June8th.

The earliest time racing can start will be 1200, and the exact time will be updated nearer the time.

The start line will be off Thorpe Bay Yacht Club, with as much inshore sailing as we can manage.

The course is likely to take barges inshore of Jubilee Beach, around the end of the pier. We are exploring options for more sailing to the West side of the pier.

The finish line will be the same as the start line off TBYC.

There will be a crew supper and prizegiving afterwards at the TBYC.
